2012 Hyundai Azera now in stock

Hyundai as a brand has grown significantly in the last 25 years, both in its quality and scope of offerings. That doesn’t change with the new 2012 Azera.

Hyundai felt as though they needed a car that fit between the Sonata and Geneis sedans, and a sedan for customers that weren’t quite at the spending level of an Equus yet. Enter the all new 2012 Azera, a reasonably priced front-drive automotive statement.

The Hyundai Azera measures 193.3 inches long and 73.2 inches wide, neatly splitting the different between the Sonata and the Genesis. The exterior falls directly in line with the rest of the Hyundai family’s updated “Fluidic Sculpture” design, which is undeniably attractive. A chrome grille initiates the winged ‘in flight’ look that continues throughout the car. A wraparound LED taillight is unique to the Azera and eighteen inch wheels with 245/45 tires are standard.

Power-adjustable leather-upholstered front seats come standard, a well located shifter, and optional power tilting and telescoping wheel make finding an optimal driving position simple and quick. The dash pad spreads outwards, wing-like from the center console, a continuation of the models overall design theme. The interior is also roomy with more than enough space for both the driver and passenger. Heated front and rear seats, a backup camera, navigation system, integrated Bluetooth, and Hyundai’s Blue Link telematics system all come standard. There is also an additional Technology package that adds 19-inch wheels, a tilt-and-slide sunroof, an Infinity audio system, ventilated front seats, and a power rear sunshade.

The driving experience with the new Azera rivals that of any Ford Taurus or Buick LaCrosse. Thanks to the struts with coil springs and a multilink independent rear setup system with disc brakes and standard ABS. The steering is precise and is electronically assisted to provide a force in the countersteer direction when the vehicles stability-control systems realizes there is forthcoming  danger based on vehicle trajectory, road conditions, or simple operator buffoonery.

There is only one powertrain available to Hyundai Azera customers, which is a 3.3-liter V-6 and a six-speed automatic transmission with a manual shifting mode and steering-wheel-mounted paddles. The Azera delivers 293 horsepower and smooth and quiet shifting. Phoenix Hyundai drivers are sure to enjoy the overall driving experience of the new Hyundai.

The Azera is now available to at Chapman Hyundai, so come by for a test drive or any more information on the new model.
