Midsize SUV Gets New Look From Ground Up

From a freshened exterior look and upgraded comfort and safety features, the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe is set to take the midsize SUV market by storm. The next version of the Santa Fe features a facelift that includes a new front fascia, brushed front grille and new headlights. New taillights and an improved dual exhaust design highlight the rear end, but there are plenty of goodies in between. The wheels are also new, as are the LED daytime running lights and fog lights. New Touchscreens Highlight Upgraded Interior

Depending on the model and your preference, you can get a 5-, 7-, or 8-inch color touchscreen on the new Santa Fe. The 7- and 8-inch touchscreens come with Android Auto, so you can use a limited number of apps from your smartphone. Also available is a premium Infinity sound system that comes with Clari-Fi music restoration technology and QuantumLogic surround sound to deliver concert quality music. Hyundai Blue Link, the company’s telematics communication system, is available on all models. Other new features include third-row USB charging ports, a power, height adjustable seat, woodgrain accents and a new center stack.

Standard Features Abound in All Trim Levels

The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe has a number of standard features that are options in other midsize SUVs. All Santa Fes come with automatic headlights, remote keyless entry, rearview camera, heated power mirrors, daytime running lights, steering wheel audio controls and Bluetooth connectivity. Optional comforts include a panoramic sunroof, 12-speaker Infinity sound system and hands-free liftgate that makes loading cargo or groceries a snap. The Hyundai Blue Link telematics system provides a number of diagnostic and safety features including remote start, stolen vehicle assistance, and the ability to remotely lock and unlock your doors. Some models also have Blue Link Guidance, which makes finding your destination a snap, even in an unfamiliar city.
