Sonata Earns ‘Best Car for Money’ Designation

U.S. News & World Report Honors Midsize Sedan

For the second time in the past three years, a Hyundai has won the title of “Best Midsize Car for the Money” from U.S. News and World Report. The Hyundai Sonata beat out 18 other competitors from around the globe, partly because of its “lengthy list of standard and optional features.” A large trunk, impressive quality and low starting price all contributed to the award. “The recognition by U.S. News and World Report highlights our commitment to providing better for our customers,” according to Product Planning manager Brandon Ramirez. “From technology to driver experience to overall performance, we are proud to have the Sonata represent the standard of value in this class.” Check out the Sonata inventory and take a test drive at Chapman Hyundai on Bell Road.

Sonata Wins Based on ‘Many Strengths’

U.S. News and World Report loves the Hyundai Sonata based on its “many strengths.” The magazine lists an uncommonly smooth ride and tons of interior leg room as two of the biggest strengths. Reviewers also liked the easy to use infotainment system, its state-of-the-art warranty and great gas mileage. “The Hyundai Sonata is the winner of the 2017 Best Midsize Car for the Money” award because it has the best combination of quality and value in the class,” U.S. News contributor Cody Trotter wrote. U.S. News evaluated 25 different data categories when evaluating all the cars. This included other industry reviews and crash test data.

Lowest Starting Price is Big Benefit

Look at all the different models of the Hyundai Sonata when you take your trip to Chapman Hyundai on Bell Road, but don’t overlook the base SE. The Sonata SE has a starting price of just $21,950, which is the lowest of any midsize sedan. You might expect a stripped-down vehicle for that low price, but it includes Bluetooth connectivity, Hyundai’s Blue Link telemetry and infotainment system and satellite radio. For a bit more, you can buy the Sport version which offers very affordable option packages that include a sunroof, heated seats, keyless ignition and hands-free trunk lid.

Don’t Forget the Great Warranty

Along with the low price and all the outstanding features, the 2017 Hyundai Sonata offers the industry’s best warranty. While other automakers only cover the major components for 3 years or 36,000 miles, Hyundai offers a limited warranty for 5 years and 60,000 miles. That includes free roadside service for the entire term of the warranty.
