The New 2016 Hyundai Tucson Displays a Bold Appearance

Given that the Hyundai Tucson was one of the oldest vehicles in the brand’s fleet, it was only a matter of time before a redesign makeover for the compact was due.

While the last-generation Tucson represented Hyundai’s early “fluidic sculpture” design concept, this new version shares the sharper, more aggressive lines of last year’s Intrado model. The front and center hexagonal grille is visually striking, while the large headlights extend into the front fenders.

Enough focus went to the cabin, although admittedly, it must be said the last Tucson’s interior aged very well. The Geneva show car exhibits gorgeous red leather seats that contrast remarkably with the black dash and silver accents. The cabin layout is not too far off the latest Sonata – clean, logical and easy to navigate your way through without much complication.

Those at the Geneva show were dazzled by the 2016 Hyundai Tucson’s bold and athletic exterior with a striking, innovative appearance. As is rather prevalent in today’s modern vehicles, the Tucson’s interior blends style and elegance with ergonomics and ample cabin space. Convenience and connectivity features customized to the driver’s requirements include New Navigation with TomTom Live services and a rather remarkable seven-year free subscription package.

Car buffs will recognize that these trends are a result of the success of SUV sales among dealerships. Even Chapman Hyundai is looking forward to further advancement of compact SUV-like models from Hyundai, along with the upcoming 2016 Tucson.

The All-New Tucson has a bold and athletic presence achieved through refined, flowing surfaces, bold proportions, sharp lines and most importantly, our newest generation hexagonal grille – our brand signature,” claimed Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer at Hyundai Motor Group.

Although the All-New Tucson features an SUV profile and strong proportions, the design team were inspired to deliver a sleek and agile appearance.

The front view of the All-New Tucson is symbolized by pure domination of its signature Hyundai hexagonal front grille connecting with the LED headlamps creating a unique façade. The front bumper delivers a wing-shaped appearance, which nicely accentuates the LED daytime running lights, gifting the classy vehicle a unique touch of elegance style whereby providing a powerful visual reference to its wide track.
